These comments are entirely subjective, as many have stated here, one oneself can answer if it sounds great and to my ears, all mastering and processing being equal, I prefer SACDs to ordinary CDs and PCM high resolution. If you prefer extended frequency in the high and lows, and if your gear doesn't make digital sound too bright, SACDs can be wonderful. e. They do press SACDs in Japan, and they can press them in America, but the only hybrids that are being pressed are pressed in Austria. Still not going to look as good as an Ultra HD Blu-ray, but there was a noticable difference in clarity.
